Rowing

  • I started rowing in 2019 and instantly fell in love with the people and the sport. That passion, dedication, and hard work led me to one of my proudest moments, where I represented Mexico’s colors racing at the U19 World Championships in Varese, Italy. I continued to represent Mexico at the CanAmEx Regatta, bringing home a bronze, and finished the season ranked the top U19 rower in Mexico. Over three years at USRowing’s Youth and Summer Nationals, I brought home four medals. Those experiences taught me grit and composure on big stages, and they set the foundation for how I train, lead, and compete today.
  • That path brought me to Columbia, where I row lightweight Division I for a top ten program and have been trusted with the stroke seat in the First Varsity boat. I spend about forty hours each week on water sessions, erg work, lifting, film, and travel while carrying a full course load, and the responsibility of setting rhythm for the crew has sharpened my leadership, discipline, and ability to deliver under pressure.

Off-Season

When I’m not in the boathouse, I chase hard, beautiful places. Either on a bike, on foot, underwater, on snow, and in the sky, and let each one teach me something new.
